By using BrainBear (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What BrainBear is

BrainBear is a free personal study tool for creating and studying flashcard decks and study guides and for sharing them with classmates. BrainBear is a study aid — it is not a substitute for your school’s instruction and does not guarantee any particular academic result.

Content & accuracy

You create your own decks and guides, and you may study material shared by other students or included as sample content. Community and AI‑assisted content may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always check study material against your course textbook and teacher before relying on it for an exam.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the content you create and for whom you choose to share it with.
• You agree to use the app lawfully and not to misuse the Google account access you grant.
• You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes someone else’s rights.
• You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.

Availability & changes

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrainBear and its maintainers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions you make based on information in the app.
